Saving the lives of children in Nairobi, Kenya -

It’s never been this easy to change the life of a child.

$1 feeds one child–for one week

There are over 1 million people crammed into a one square mile area in the Kibera slum, and Kibera is only 1 of over 100 slum areas in Nairobi, Kenya.

Your pocket change can make a difference

It only costs $5 a month to buy enough rice, beans, and porridge to feed a child 2 meals a day, 5 days a week while they are in school. Because they attend school to get this food, your donation of just $5 a month will also help them get an education and improve their life and the life of their family, by getting them off of the dangerous streets in the slums.

But most importantly, No Hungry Children chaplains visit the children weekly to minister to them and share the Gospel.

No matter how much you can afford to give, you can have massive impact in these childrens lives because…

Since 1962, St. Jude's Research Hospital has operated under statement  “no child should die in the dawn of life."

At Krüg Woodworks we wholly believe this as well and want to make a way for our small business to support the mission of St. Jude's.

Check out the video below to see the statistics that St. Jude is working to change.

Why donate to St. Jude?

Families never receive a bill from St. Jude for treatment, travel, housing, or food, so they can focus on helping their child live.

As mentioned in the above video, St. Jude is working to improve the survival rate of childhood cancer to developing countries.

St. Jude is finding cures for children and your donations are funding the research needed to develop these cures.

How do I donate?

Our giving platform is hosted through Pledgeling Foundation.

Pledgeling Foundation is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization with a regranting program that efficiently distributes tens of thousands of donations each month from individual donors and businesses to their favorite causes. Donations come through integrated employer donation programs, services like Evite, media platforms, Shopify merchants, and many other brands and nonprofits.

Pledgeling Foundation operates as a "donor-advised fund," which means that donations are initially made to it and are immediately tax-deductible in the US. Donations to Pledgeling Foundation are made via a variety of online donation tools.

The donor specifies which US 501c3 they want the donation to go to at the time the donation to Pledgeling Foundation is made. Once Pledgeling Foundation receives a donation, it is obligated, to the best of its abilities, to re-grant the funds, less processing costs, to the 501c3 organization specified by the original donor.
